The Penelope Romper takes your through all seasons with the endless options it offers. It has a fully lined bodice with several options, six different sleeve options, and three different leg lengths.
You will need:
Cotton spandex (Lycra) for bodice and knit or woven fabric for the romper bottom
1/2in wide elastic
Sewing machine
Serger (optional)
Scissors
Thread
Ballpoint needle (in machine)
Wonder clips or pins
Marking pen
Safety Pin or Bodkin (to thread elastic)
Lightweight fusible interfacing (used for snap placket option)
Metal Ring snaps or plastic snaps (required for snap placket option)
Like all of Max and Meena’s patterns, the Penelope Romper has been through extensive testing and this is a pattern you can trust to give you awesome results. The layering feature makes printing easy and efficient and the detailed tutorial will guide you through each step of construction.
**Please note you will need Adobe Reader on a computer to download and print the pattern correctly. It can be downloaded for free from the Adobe website. https://get.adobe.com/reader. This is a very large pattern and it is essential to use the "layers" function that is only available on the Adobe desktop program. This function does NOT work on phones or tablets.
You will NEED to use the layers feature with this pattern as all of the sizes are layered on top of each other and there are many options.
